Amish peanut butter Spread

YUM YUM IS TODAY YUMMY POST.... I LOVE MAKING AMISH PEANUT BUTTER SPREAD..
A Few years ago my parents took my husband and I to an amish settlement about an hour from my home town in montana. We had reservations at the Dinner Bell an amish family owned resturant. They were only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We were served this heavenly spread on homemade bread. All you can eat and gee i must have eaten a bowl of it my self. I purchased the cookbook offered and the first thing I tried was the Amish spread. Like all Amish food stuffs, this makes alot and I was soon giving it away because we should really eat that much. When I make it now I narrow it down to a simple quaintly but it still makes alot.
Spreads like this one are often served after their long Sunday service. They also make a cheese spread as well but today is the peanut spread.
Amish peanut butter Spread:
2lbs of creamy peanut butter
2 lbs of marshmallow cream
Then add 3 cup of Mrs. Buttersworth pancake Syrup that is maple flavored.
Then add 1 cup of very hot water and stir, stir and stir.... It will look very creamy and lite brown most of marshmallow cream should be dissolved and no lumps. Spread on homemade bread or toast. I am trying a small container of it to freeze so let you know how that works out Enjoy
